Hey everyone, I have looked around online and have not found any WIP's on Omegamon plastic model that came out recently at the same time as the MG Double O Quanta. Here is the feet. Total of 5 pieces for each foot and a PC piece that attaches to the Leg.This is the front part being flexed downThis is how far the ankle guard bends backwardsFully completed leg with the foot.Total of 18 pieces and 3 PC cap pieces. There is not frame inside to show off. I guess that would make since since it is a Digimon lolHere is a good image of the claws/toes bending down on its own without moving the rest of the foot.Everything bent forward not that I would ever pose it this way on the model once completed.
So I decided to go ahead and start my own WIP of Omegamon from Digimon Reboot. This is actually my first WIP for my blog.
So as I have said when I posted the runnerslast week that this model has a HG feel rather then a Master Grade feel.
Here are the feet completed. They are about 2.5 inches or so long
The bottom of the feet are very flat and for the more experienced modeler or a better look you may want to fill in the bottom of the claws.
The front part of the foot bends back and also so does the toes/claws. The claws are all one part so you can't move the claws/toes individually.
This is the completed leg with one piece for the knee and there are three pieces for the ankle guard.
Two pieces create the piece that attaches to the waist once I build that.
Leg posed in the couching position with the toes outstretched holding the leg upright.
I hope this gives everyone a good idea as to the mobility of the model and that they are not looking for a Master Grade like model. The price is 3,800 Yen which is the same price as a Master Grade Wing Zero Custom which probably has a lot better poses and more detail and more articulation.
Look forward to more. I will paint this kit by the way.
The promotion of Linkin Park and their new album a Thousand Suns has a 1/144 HGUC model with it and is designed by the band members.
Here is the link to the page of the item where it has more information. Was relased a few days ago on the 24th.
ZOIDS RZ-zero liger listed contact us and apologize for erroneous instruction manual
If you have ordered and/or have the HMM Liger Zero that is being/has been released this month from Kotobukiya, there was a error in the manual on completing the model. Click on the link above and see where it error is so you can complete your model!
So I picked this up as well when I ordered the Omegamon!Large box just like the Blade Liger Mirage that I got earlier this year, this kit has have to have as many pieces as a Perfect Grade Gundam Model in smaller form
It was a re-release and now all I need is the blue Blade Liger and put together the pose when Van defeated the Genosaurer.
Anyways, here are some photos from the box
I counted 34 runners (some are duplicates probably for the arms and legs and such) and 2 PC cap runners for joints probably. Tons of runners if you ask me.
BTW this is my 100th post!
Another review over at Dalong.net
Tons of photos of this great model that was recently released. I like the fact that there is a large variety of posses that you can make this model stand in. Also lots of different ways to show off the sword.
This is going to be released in JAnurary 2011 and it comes in one retail box with 12 pieces in it.
There is a total of 6 different pieces that you can collect and put them together to creat the Going Merry from One Piece.
Retail price is 4,788 Yen

What it looks like when all are put together
Below are the six different pieces that you can collect to build the hull of the Going Merry
Vivi and Crocodile in Alverna

The retail price for the box is 4,200 Yen

Red Hair Shanks
The next Mega size 1/48 model is on it's way out to stores this December.
For about 7,800 Yen (Link here to the Hobby Link Japan site for preorder) Article and images from ToysDaily and posted by Douglas.M.Saint.
A cool thing about these models is that there is no need for special tools t remove the pieces from the runners. You may want to as a pro modeler if you want a super smooth look and if you are going to paint it.
Also comes with some decals!
