Like I said I believe last week, I have been sick but I am finally feeling better and school is getting harder, lucky me. Anyways, I'm going to try to work on my models as much as I can although I don't think I can spray paint indoors. I'm still waiting for a model from HLj and now they have sent the other one I order too. The one that is coming in is MG God Gundam with clear parts and I'm pretty excited about it. I have also heard about Bandi releasing a MG Wing Gundam. It looks pretty cool and I hope they upgrade some other Gundam's in the Gundam Wing line like Deathscythe Hell Custom and the Tallgeese which are my favorites. It is an odd turn for Bandi but many people in North America will be pleased. Now I have to head out as I actually have work today! Gotta make money if you want to keep this hobby

So I have been slowly busy and today I did't have speech class so I thought about going ahead and test this cheap primer I picked up and it didn't say plastic on it but I figure I experiment. I had to do it inside since there is still snow on the ground and it just isn't warm enough outside to spray paint. Doing it in the washing room where not many people go also wasn't that smart since the spray smell drifted through out the down stairs >_>. My parents wont be happy when they get back lol. I only tried it on the wings of the Master Gudam and it dried pretty fast the first wing I did. It came out really nice and I sanded down some of the parts that still showed the seams. The problem hit when I did the second part. The gray primer was placed on the wing but after the first three minutes it started to crack on the wing. So this gray paint had cracks all over it and so I tried to see if I could get all the paint off of it to redo but when water hit it harden on the plastic and sealed itself.... Now instead of a nice gray primer like the other wing, it's shinny and silver like and wont come off. I have no clue what to do with it other then maybe pour paint thinner on it or just see if paint will go on it with no problems...but I doubt it....oh and I am sick which doesn't help either!

Well after my models came in we got swamped with more and more snow. It has been hectic and I lost like 4 days or so of college, not that I am complaining. I did manage to get out to the hobby shop and pick up some clear paint and some squadron green putty. I also found some primer and clear matte spray at walmart also for a lot less and a lot more so I might try that out. Also plan on trying the Krylon Fusion paint that was made just for plastics. Anyways, I have been working on my Master Gundam 1/144 and I just finished fully prepping it for primer. I have glued my pieces together sanded them down and filled in all the gaps with the putty. The putty dries really fast and sands down really well for a smooth finish. I wish my camera was a little better because the pictures that I took a while ago are blurry and not so great. I will try to get some photos up for the remanding WIP. Thats all I got for right now other then piles of snow!

Hey everyone my order came in today that I placed with Rainbow Ten. Since I'm still trying to sharpen my skills before I waste any of my 1/100 HG or better kits I order a Gundam Astray Red Frame 1/144. When I look at this kit and opened it up I realized that it only had two runners. TWO! That is so little, the Wing Gundam 1/144 I had at least had four runners. I, right now, am actually working on a Master Gundam 1/144 and doing it right out of the box with the simple black, red and yellow colors that it on the box. I am working on that and will place my WIP photos up soon. It will probably take some time since the weather is making wait before I can paint or prime. Right now all I can do is prep work it before the priming. The other two kits that came wiht my Gundam Astray is a HG Deathscythe Hell Custom 1/100 from Endless Waltz. Now back in the day this was the coolest looking Gundam to me so I had to feed my inner child and get this. Now, I did managed to pick it up in the 1/144 special clear version but I wanted a bigger version that would stand out and painting the clear plastic would have seem annoying to me. The other model I got was a HG 00 Gundam 1/100 with light GN Drives. Now what got me to decide to get this one was that I didn't feel ready for a MG yet and I also realized that the only Gundam's that I have only come from the series G Gundam and Gundam Wing. Looking through the 00 Gundam kit line a lot of them looked pretty cool and I really liked the way this one looked and it reminded me of the PG 00 Raiser. Now I know that I can't afford that or most MG now anyways so I got this one. I hope I enjoy these kits and building them. Now I have a list of models on my shelf that I need to finish: HG Deathscythe Hell Custom 1/100, HG 00 Gundam 1/100, HG Shining Gundam 1/60, Wing Gundam 1/144, Dragon Gundam 1/144, and Astray Red Frame 1/144.
